The 7th Korea-Japan Workshop on KAGRA

The 7th Korea-Japan workshop on KAGRA will take place at University of Toyama near KAGRA site on Dec. 19 and 20, 2014.

The purpose of the workshop is to foster the collaboration between Korea and Japan on the development, construction, and exploitation of the KAGRA gravitational wave detector.

The workshop will start with a plenary session including a report on the status of the KAGRA project. Then we will discuss various activities on instrument development, detector characterization, and theory and data analysis, which are ongoing both in Korea and Japan.

A tour of KAGRA will be given on the first day.

The banquet will be held in the campus cafeteria of Univ. Toyama in the first day evening.

Two satellite meetings are scheduled on Dec. 18 and 20.
