Environmental assessment via chemical monitoring
Development of novel methods for the preconcentration and determination of trace contaminants {phthalate esters(PAEs), ammonia, nitrite, arsenic etc} in environmental water is performed.  In my recent work, membrane solubilization technique with tetramethylammonium hydroxide was proposed for the preconcentration and electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometric determination of trace amounts of arsenic in water.
