Graduate School of Science and Engineering for Education

Science and technology have seen dramatic growth in recent years, and academic disciplines are becoming more specialized and more sophisticated. Meanwhile, the fields that answer the various demands of society are becoming more interdisciplinary and integrated, leading to the birth of new academic fields, as well as their systematization and advancement.
With this in mind, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering have come together to create the Graduate School of Science and Engineering for Education (Master and PhD Programs) to contribute to this revolution and ensure further progress.
One feature of this Graduate School is that students will receive guidance in a wide range of education and research, from basic theory to application. It is a new system that will spur a new level of comprehensive research.
Students of the master's program will study courses in their given major for two years, and those that pass the evaluation of their dissertation and final exams will be conferred a master's degree (science or engineering).
Those master's students who have completed their coursework may study courses in their given major for three years, and those that pass the evaluation of their issertation and final exam will be conferred a PhD (science or engineering).
